New update of "This is not a sorcerer's job". Version 0.35.
These are its news:
- New level (5): much bigger and more challenging than the previous ones. The mapping issue is costing me a lot of work and time, as I try to make the levels more "smart" and not seem bland, repetitive, or "stuffy". All this, without taking away the action from the game.
- New enemy: ghost that haunts you as soon as it sees you. You can smash him by jumping on his head, but ... don't go near him when he's NOT in a solid state!
- New pressure slabs that activate mechanisms by placing a box on them.
- New double access stone doors.
- Hanging chains (decoration): they move thanks to gravity when colliding with them. I watched several tutorials about it on YouTube and, like I did with the torches, I improved its behavior.
- At last the first NPC arrives! NPCs (non-playable characters) will entrust us with missions in exchange for their help. I try to make conversations with them pleasant and funny.
- With the arrival of the NPCs I have had to rework the dialogue system, now more user-friendly.
- And there have also been many more changes internally, imperceptible to the naked eye.
I hope this new update and its news are to your liking, and that you enjoy playing as much as I did programming and designing the game;)
VERY VERY IMPORTANT: Please, if you find any game or TRANSLATION errors, do not hesitate to comment, I want to make the game as perfect as possible (within my possibilities, of course). The game is localized in 3 languages: Spanish (my native language), English (I control it moderately) and French (I have no idea); I use Google Translator for this and we know very well that it is not a perfect system.
